Meet the expert gardeners from The Raymond Blanc Gardening School, discover the enchanting gardens of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and enjoy a delicious three-course lunch with wine at Blanc’s legendary country house in Oxfordshire.

Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a Belmond Hotel, is one of the country’s most cherished manor house hotels. It received two Michelin stars in 1984, the first year of its opening, and, remarkably, has held them ever since. Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, the setting is postcard-perfect. But beyond the eye-catching displays are vegetable and herb gardens that provide the kitchen — and the acclaimed Raymond Blanc Cookery School — with ultra-fresh, organic produce. They guarantee the restaurant remains at the cutting edge of culinary excellence.

During your visit you will meet the expert tutors at The Raymond Blanc Gardening School where you will expand your knowledge by taking part in an interactive seed-sowing activity. Take home your own pot to nurture and cherish, allowing you to bring a piece of Le Manoir home with you. You’ll also venture outdoors on a guided tour of the 11 unique gardens within Le Manoir’s grounds, including the renowned organic vegetable garden and orchards. Learn how the gardeners work hand in hand with the chefs to produce the very best varieties for the daily menu, and even pick up a few tips and secrets!

On your return to the manor house, enjoy a champagne reception before savouring a Michelin-starred three course lunch on shared tables.

Tickets are £290pp - to book, please call 01844 277200 or email events.mqs@belmond.com quoting “Radio Times Reader Lunch”.
