This cover was designed for the Radio Times Summer Number of 1928. Many readers were asking when the BBC was going to branch out into television: the postmaster-general stated it was still an experimental, impractical technology, althoug hit was hinted that "telephotography" (transmitting still photographs and diagrams) might be adopted i"in the not very remote future".
